Recommended reading – Photography – Part One

Digital cameras and the internet fit well together, and there are many sites out there that I return to regularly for hints, tips, product reviews or just great photography. Over the coming weeks I’ll break these down and add them to my links area, in the meantime here are the first few sites that I’d visit on a daily basis.

  1. Scott Kelby’s blog. A great source of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom hints and tips as well as fantastic images.
  2. Ken Rockwell. Ken tends to polarise the photographic community – reading the forums, he seems to be equally loved and hated! Ken always has an entertaining opinion, I don’t always agree with it, but hey it keeps me going back to the site.
  3. Digital ProTalk. David A. Ziser is an outstanding wedding photographer, especially with creative off camera flash. While Ken Rockwell concentrates more on Nikon gear at the moment, David is more of a Canon afficionado – it’s nice for us equipment junkies to read about different systems.

There are far more sites to add, more of which will appear on the right of this blog soon.
